Let Nature In—Tana Latorre

An intimate portrait of a Spanish artist taking inspiration from the natural world, in partnership with Dr. Hauschka and Friends of Friends

Let Nature In is a new content series produced by organic skincare brand Dr. Hauschka in collaboration with Friends of Friends (FvF), an independent online platform and production company that has been profiling inspiring creatives and spaces since 2009. They have banded together to showcase inspiring female creatives for whom the concept of natural beauty is intrinsic to their practice.

Bathed in iridescent Iberian sunlight, this film takes us into the delicate world of Tana Latorre, a self-trained artist and one of the creative forces behind Paloma wool, a small-batch fashion project inspiring progressive female artistic communities. Born in Nairobi, educated in Paris and Geneva, and based in Barcelona, Latorre is a truly global citizen who draws inspiration from the world around her.

Latorre’s art, like nature, features no straight lines. Her palette mirrors the pastel tones just outside her window, and her canvas is as natural as they come—the female body, which she uses to create ephemeral works of art.

Let Nature In — Lana Latorre provides a refreshing perspective on creativity and the importance of pursuing the things you love, all seen through the eyes of an artist who evokes the FvF appeal of timeless authenticity and Dr. Hauschka’s philosophy of natural skincare.

For more than fifty years the organic medicinal properties of plants have been at the heart of Dr. Hauschka’s skincare line. Using the latest research, combined with a profound respect for the earth, Dr. Hauschka only chooses the finest raw ingredients to create beauty solutions as natural as the skin you’re in.
