KX100
A poetic ode to a phoneboox, directed by Will Dohrn
In this black-and-white visual short poet James Massiah pays homage to a British cultural icon—the KX100 phone box.
Since the proliferation of mobile technology, the bygone street corner staple fell into obscurity and was gradually removed across the UK.
Massiah highlights the many strands of social interaction the KX100 has fostered over its 35-year existence, while taking a nostalgic stance on an object that is becoming more and more redundant in modern society.
