Marcus Gaab
German-born Marcus Gaab studied photography at the Folkwang University of Essen, where he graduated with distinction. In 1996, he embarked on a freelance career, focusing on creative projects that merge his chief interests: photography, travel and his family. He has since shot for dozens of publications, including i-D, Interview, Vanity Fair, GQ, The New York Times and V, as well as for clients such as Nike, BMW and Hermès, picking up multiple design awards in the process. In partnership with his wife, Christiane Bördner, Gaab has launched a creative consultancy, Agentur-E. As well as publishing I Love You magazine, the pair are developing Endless, a travel magazine that will debut in fall 2011. Gaab divides his time between Berlin and New York.
