One Minute: Quentin Jones

Part Two of Our London Fashion Week Street Style Series, With New Videos Throughout the Day

Multimedia artist Quentin Jones displays her playful fashion sensibilities in the second installment of filmmaker Dennis Swiatkowski’s One Minute street style series, filmed during London Fashion Week. Earlier today NOWNESS featured the continental chic of stylist Ondine Azoulay; check back later for the street fashions of Starworks PR Guru George MacPherson and vibrant design duo Agi & Sam. Known for her quirky animations and illustrated overlays, Jones’s work has appeared in AnOther Magazine, The Hunger, and Nylon Japan, while clients include Chanel and Victoria Beckham. Here she reveals her fashion week highlights and love of vintage YSL.

What was your Fashion Week highlight?
The B.F.C. fashion film screenings, a dinner with Victoria Beckham, and catching up/playing with friends at a party or two.

Describe your style in a sentence?
I am hoping that when I've grown up I may find out what this sentence is.

What do you think is unique about London street style?
There is freedom in not having to be too “done” in London. Girls can be boys...

What’s the first thing you do once Fashion Week is over?
Pray my liver will forgive me.

What is your most prized in-closet possession?
My 80s YSL silk quilted bomber jacket.
