Boxing Day "Scanwiches"

Sandwich Obsessive Jon Chonko Scans in His Stacked Festive Leftover Treats

It tastes just like Christmas.” Graphic designer Chonko has immortalized his Katz deli bun and filler in a new book Scanwiches dedicated to his blog—including such inspired variations as a soft noodle sandwich, and the “Dagwood sandwich” made famous by the Blondie comics. “The Dagwood was the craziest one,” says Chonko. “It’s the kind with 30 or 40 ingredients in. A particular challenge when they weigh 8lbs.”
