Drawing Inspiration: View and Vote

Browse the entries to NOWNESS’s latest reader competition, celebrating the highly anticipated English-language release of Haruki Murakami’s new novel 1Q84. Click on a thumbnail to view a full-size image, then vote for your favorites from the reader submitted designs illustrating the fantastical titles of the Japanese author’s bestselling novels. Readers are also encouraged to share the submissions they love via email, Facebook and Twitter. Submissions to the competition are now closed and entries can be voted on for one week until Tuesday, October 18. The winners will be announced on NOWNESS on October 25 to coincide with the publication of 1Q84. The six most popular entries will each be awarded with a first-edition copy of 1Q84 signed by the author, as well as a complete archive of his previous works courtesy of Random House, Inc., our partners in the competition. Reflecting our ongoing commitment to discovering new creative talent, one student entrant will also receive a paid commission for NOWNESS and have their work published on the site.
