Become a NOWNESS Contributor

Short film is a powerful new force in fashion, able to communicate heightened, multi-dimensional perceptions of the clothes and the experiences they inspire. NOWNESS aims to set a new standard for experiencing high-end fashion and culture digitally. We've premiered work by many of the industry's most talented directors, including Todd Cole, Ryan McGinley, Poppy De Villeneuve and Matthew Donaldson, who have created some spectacular visual narratives for fashion houses including Dior Homme, Dolce & Gabbana and Rodarte (see above for a quick reminder). Now we want you to have a go. Through The IdeaLists, an online creative network and ideas marketplace, we invite you to submit your ideas for an original fashion film. One filmmaker will see their concept fully realized and premiered on NOWNESS—and we'll hook you up with your fashion designer of choice, a production company and the budget to make it all happen.  All treatments that are submitted and received before the deadline of September 15th will be reviewed by The IdeaLists alongside the NOWNESS editorial team.
