Daphne by Daphne Guinness
Daphne Guinness is a connoisseur of beautifully crafted objects, famed for her appreciation of couture as well as her activities as a stylist and journalist. Her latest creation is “Daphne,” a new perfume produced with Comme des Garcons, and to coincide with its launch she has released a short film, Mnemosyne. Co-directing with David Parker, Guinness conceived the film as a subtle, artistic exploration of scent’s ability to take us on a journey, its connection to memory and its unfolding, narrative properties.
