Testino in Brazil

Marcel Camus chose Rio as the perfect location to place the epic, mythical stories of ancient Greece in his 1959 film Black Orpheus. The passionate, larger-than-life city and its people echoed the lives of the gods—a suitable subject for super-photographer Mario Testino. His love affair with Brazil, from its carnival to penthouses, its favelas to Copacabana beach is explained in his new body of work, Mario Testino: Rio de Janeiro.
