Wanderlust

A passionate advocate of kitsch over functionality, the Dutch design superstar Marcel Wanders takes a look back over 20 years of innovative, witty and exuberant design at Philadelphia Museum of Art this month. For this multimedia exhibition, Wanders has chosen his favorite projects from the last two decades including prototypes and objects that have never been exhibited before. Among the works on show, there’ll be his gravity-defying “Knotted Chair”, the Calvin lamp, golden glazed-clay “Moosehead” and iconic “Crochet Chair”.
