Sounding Out the Snow

From Inuit throat singers to mainstream artists such as Björk, Gus Gus and Sigur Ros, the music of Iceland and Greenland is at times as breathtakingly beautiful as the two countries’ magnificent landscapes. In upcoming documentary Music From The Moon, filmmakers Carsten Christochowitz, Christian Hund and Uwe Waltring have combined both, creating an enchanting documentary about Berlin’s Hypno Theatre group, who took a traveling puppet show across the subarctic in 2006.
